Etwas über Neustadt..

Ok, so in February, I'll be living in Neustadt am Rübenberge. Probably you've never heard of this place, nor been there, in your life before. So here's some info about it (thanks, Wikipedia): Neustadt is a community in the state Lower Saxony and is situated between Hanover and Bremen. The community has 45.657 habitants, but the "Kernstadt" Neustadt only 18.000 (in 2006). To compare, Wilnis has 6.683 habitants, and Sablé 12.716 so it's like putting those two cities togheter :)
The city is next to the Steinhuder Lake and has a river, the Leine, flowing through it. It also has a castle, Schloss Landestrost.
The mayor of Neustadt is called Uwe Sternbeck and, to make it even more perfect, he's a member of the Greens ! The community also disposed of a youth council, with a youth mayor. And just like Bückeburg maintains Neustadt a jumelage (Städtepartnerschaft) with a French city! It's La Ferté-Macé, which lies in Normandie.
Well, that's everything I can tell about Neustadt for now.. but I'll hope to find out more when I'll be there :)
